In yesterday’s match of the Hundred Mens Competition, between Manchester Originals and Northern Superchargers. Manchester Originals were easily able to win the match, but the performance of Adil Rashid didn’t go unnoticed. He was able to make a vital contribution, however, the other bowlers were not able to support him, and that is the reason, Manchester Originals were able to set up a big score. Adil Rashid is certainly having a lot of positives to take from this match. He certainly has a chance to play in the next season, and then he can showcase his talent again.
Brilliant 4 wickets by Adil Rashid
Taking wickets under pressure is certainly not an easy task, especially for a bowler, whose team is at the bottom of the points table. That is what Adil Rashid was able to do for his team. But in a team sport, one man alone cannot make a big difference. That is the only reason Adil Rashid was not able to make his team win. If he had got the required support, then the story could have been different.

The above stats showed that in the bowling unit, Rashid was a one-man army. He went on to break the successful opening partnership of the Manchester Originals. Their opening stand was 72 runs, and it could have been more if Rashid had not got the breakthrough for the team.
Rashid got both the big wickets, that of Salt, and Jos Buttler. After that, Paul Walker was playing really well for the team. He had scored 28 runs with the help of 2 fours and 2 sixes, and for that, he took only 17 balls. Before he had scored more sixes, Walter’s wicket was taken by Rashid. This was another important wicket. The last wicket taken by Rashid was of Overton.
In the second innings of the Hundred Mens Competition, the batters of Northern Superchargers were not able to perform well. That became the main reason for losing the match.
