This is certainly a squad with potential. But the West Indies team needs to have a different strategy against the WTC finalist. Sinclair has taken 11 wickets in the 7 ODI matches he has played. In the First Class matches, his bowling average is 23.98. For the young off-spinner, it is going to be a great stage to prove his worth. If he goes on to perform well, then his place will get cemented in the team for a long period of time.
Lessons from the previous match
From the previous match, there is a lot that can be learned. The batting lineup of the West Indies team was not able to perform in front of Ashwin. On the other hand, the bowlers of the West Indies team failed, and that led the Indian batsmen to make the opening partnership of 200 runs.
Now the hosts need to ensure that get a good score on the board, only then the Indians will face the pressure. This is the only way for the West Indies to save the series from a 2-0 loss.
