Gulshan Jha, a bowler for the Nepal national cricket team, was born on February 17, 2006, in Nepal. After making his ODI debut against the United States at the age of just 15 years and 212 days, he rose to the position of third youngest ODI player.
Cricket Career
Jha’s bowling performance in the Nepali local domestic tournament caused him to go viral on social media. Jha was selected for Nepal’s One Day International (ODI) team for their series against Papua New Guinea in Oman despite having played just two games in domestic competition. He was also included in Nepal’s roster for the sixth-round match of the 2019–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 competition, which will take place in Oman. On September 17, 2021, he played in his first ODI for Nepal against the United States. He was also included in the squad for the U19 Asia Cup from Nepal.
He was selected for the Nepal Twenty20 International (T20I) team in February 2022 in preparation for the Oman-hosted ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Global Qualifier A competition. On February 19, 2022, he played for Nepal against the Philippines in his first T20I match.
