That is because it has always been said that the T20 format is the batters format. However, the bowling spells of these two bowlers did something unconventional. As a pair, these two bowlers went on to take 6 wickets. That was certainly a brilliant performance.
Ruben Trumpelmann’s spell
Ruben Trumpelmann bowled one of the best spells in the tournament. He even got a maiden over for the team. He bowled 4 overs, in which he gave away only 8 runs, at an economy of only 2 runs per over. In the four overs he bowled, he even got 3 wickets. This contribution certainly helped the team to make that match one-sided.
Junaid Siddique’s spell
The spell of Junaid Siddique was also a class spell. He was the one who finished the innings for the Montreal Tigers. He bowled 3.3 overs and got 3 wickets. However, he was a bit expensive, his economy was over 7 runs per over. In a short spell of 3.3 overs, he even bowled 7 wide bowls.
Mohammad Rizwan’s fifty
Even in a low-scoring game, a team should not take the target lightly. That is what Mohammad Rizwan did, he ensured to stay there at the crease till the end of the game. He managed to score 68 of 54 balls.
The bowling performance of Ruben and Junaid certainly paved the road for Vancouver Knights. This was a brilliant performance, and at the same time, Mohammad Rizwan ensured that he would make it easy for the team to win the match. Vancouver Knights have won 3 out of 6 matches, and they are currently at position 4.
