Australian left-handed batter Matthew Renshaw who is all set to be a part of the Baggy greens for the upcoming Border-Gavaskar trophy 2023, revealed a bizarre incident during the 2017 BGT’s 1st Test at Pune. He has been selected in the squad but it remains to be seen if he can break into the Aussie playing XI.
He shared a truly weird incident which took place with him while he was batting alongside Steve Smith at Pune. What followed was not much appreciated by the former Australian captain and all eyes will be on Renshaw. The Lefty while batting on 15 runs had to quickly leave the field because of a certain emergency.
His decision was not like by Smith given the fact that the visitors were in a tough situation. Matt Renshaw had no other choice but to leave mid-game because of a bathroom emergency. At the end of the day they are also humans! Players can have emergencies of different sorts but its better to answer nature’s call rather than ignoring it.

On that note, Renshaw said that he had almost bought Adult’s diaper for any possibilities of the 2017 incident happening once again. But later he added that its better to have your diet under control instead of depending upon a Diaper.
“I was in the chemist the other day and I walked past and saw some adult diapers and I was so close to buying them. I’d just rather be safe than sorry! I’ll try and keep the diet under control so everything else can be sorted.”
Will he get a place in the Australian Playing XI in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy?
