The Asian Hockey Championship is certainly like the World Cup of Hockey in Asia. This is certainly one of the best tournaments of Hockey in Asia to showcase the talent. Total six teams are going to participate in this tournament, including India. The first match of the tournament is going to be held on 3rd August 2023. This tournament is going to stretch till 12th August 2023.

The first match of the Asian Hockey Championship is going to be played at Mayor Radhakrishnan Hockey Stadium in Chennai. The top six Hockey teams in Asia are going to participate in this tournament.
This is the 7th edition of this tournament, and this is going to be the first time that the Asian Hockey Championship is going to be hosted in India.

On this day three matches are going to happen.

- India vs China – 8.30 PM
4th August
This day is going to cover 3 matches. Those are:
- South Korea vs Pakistan – 4.00 PM
- China vs Malaysia – 6.15 PM
- India vs Japan – 8.30 PM
6th August
- China vs South Korea – 4.00 PM
- Japan vs Pakistan – 6.15 PM

After a one-day gap, the last three matches of the Robin stage are going to be played.

- From 11th of August the knockout stage will begin. The play-off for fifth place will be played at 3:30 PM.
- The 1st semi-final will be played at 6PM
- The 2nd semi-final will be played at 08:30 PM
12th August
- Play-off for the third place – 6 PM
- Final – 8.30 PM
