Cristiano Ronaldo has been awarded a Guinness World Record certificate for making his 200th international appearance.
He celebrated the occasion by scoring the game-winning goal in the 89th minute as Portugal defeated Iceland 1-0.
Before the game began, Guinness World Records recognised Ronaldo, 38, for playing in 200 games for Portugal, nearly 20 years after his debut.
He was celebrating at the end after scoring the game-winning goal from close range to keep Portugal on track for Euro 2024 qualification.
"Triumph with a special flavour," Ronaldo stated as he accepted the trophy.
He further said, Not only for the day it was, for the tribute, for the 200th game… To top it off with a goal, I can’t ask for more
