the Story behind Paneka Penalty

over the years, we have seen many players take the paneka penalty 

for a fact, it is an incredible skill to have! 

but a very few of us know the story behind it

The paneka penalty was named after former dutch player antonin paneka 

he took the first ever paneka penalty during the 1976 euros final against west germany 

the game was down to penalties and antonin stepped up to take the decided penalty kick 

in a nervy situation, antonin sweetly dinked the ball to win the final for netherlands! 

since then many have gone on to try it. some made it their own while some failed!
