Venkatesh Prasad Slams Indian Cricket Team for Mediocrity
Former Indian cricketer Venkatesh Prasad has criticized the Indian cricket team for their recent performances
saying that they have become "used to celebrating mediocrity."
Prasad, who played 16 Tests and 120 ODIs for India, was particularly critical of the team's batting
saying that they have been "found wanting" in both ODIs and Tests.
He also said that the team's attitude has been "lackluster"
and that they have not been "playing with the same intensity" that they used to.
Prasad's comments come after India lost the second ODI against West Indies by six wickets. The loss leveled the three-match series at 1-1.
