Update on Brij Bhushan Singh case on Wrestlers molestation
Brij Bhushan Singh, a former national wrestling coach, has been granted interim bail by a Delhi court in a sexual harassment case filed by two female wrestlers.
the bail was granted on Thursday, 20 July.
The court directed Singh to not leave the country without prior intimation of the court
Singh has also been directed to not, directly or indirectly, indulge in threat or inducement to the complainants or witnesses.
Singh was arrested on July 14, 2023, after the two wrestlers filed a complaint with the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW)
alleging that he had sexually harassed them during a training camp in 2022.
However, the case is still under investigation, and it is possible that he could be charged and convicted.
