Saina Nehwal is an Indian Badminton player, from Hyderabad.
She was the 1st Indian to reach the 2008 Beijing Olympics Quarterfinals for Badminton.
Saina secured a bronze medal at the 2009 BWF World Championship event.
She won a
gold medal in women's singles at the 2010 Commonwealth Games.
She won a bronze medal and was the first woman to win an Olympic medal at the 2012 London Olympics in the Singles category.
Saina won the India Open Super Series in 2014, a major victory in her career graph.
In 2015, she clinched the Australian Open Super Series title and added another feather to her cap.
The biggest highlight was that Saina became the first Indian woman to achieve the No. 1 rank in 2015.
