Pakistan wants ‘financial guarantees’ from ICC

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has asked the International Cricket Council (ICC) to provide financial guarantees

That is, if India decides to not travel to Pakistan for the 2025 Champions Trophy.

The PCB has said that it would suffer significant financial losses if India does not travel

as the tournament is being jointly hosted by the two countries.

The PCB has also said that it would be unfair if India is allowed to pull out of the tournament

That India should face consequences

The ICC has not yet responded to the PCB's request

However, the ICC has said that it is committed to ensuring that the Champions Trophy is a success, regardless of whether India participates.
