The Pakistani cricketer who converted to Islam

Former Pakistan cricketer Yousuf Youhana was the only player who converted during his international career.

Yohana, who started his career in 1998, left Christianity and converted to Islam in 2004.

Along with the conversion, he also changed his name. He named himself Mohammad Yusuf.

Not only this, his wife Tanya also changed her name to Fatima.

After his conversion, Mohammad Yusuf exposed his attachment to Islam.

The former cricketer had said in 2006 that the credit for his stellar performance during his career goes to converting to Islam.

Mohammad Yusuf said that his batting improved only after converting to Islam.
