Thalaivas to Decide on Sehrawat's Future After PKL Auction
Former Indian kabaddi captain Anup Kumar believes Tamil Thalaivas will not retain Pawan Sehrawat for upcoming Pro Kabaddi League
He said that Sehrawat's injury history and high price that he would command would make it difficult for Thalaivas to retain him.
Sehrawat is the most expensive player in PKL history, having been bought by Thalaivas for Rs 2.26 crore in the last season's auction
However, he suffered an injury early in the season and was ruled out for the rest of the campaign.
Kumar said that Thalaivas would need to consider the long-term implications of retaining Sehrawat.
He said that the team would need to be sure that he would be able to stay fit for the entire season.
PKL auction for the upcoming season will be held from 8-9 September. It will be interesting to see if Thalaivas decide to retain Sehrawat
