However, he impressed selectors with his performances in the Big Bash League
where he scalped 21 wickets in the 2020-2021 season and 16 wickets in the 2021-2022 season
He also had a good run in the 2020 Under-19 World Cup
where he was one of the leading wicket-takers with 15 scalps in six games.
Sangha's inclusion in the provisional squad is a surprise, but it is a reward for his consistent performances in recent years.
