Sergio Ramos signed a one-year deal with Sevilla on September 4, 2023
After turning down a 30 million euro offer from Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad.
The 37-year-old Spanish defender had been a free agent since his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expired in July.
Ramos spent 16 seasons at Real Madrid, where he won five Champions League titles
Four FIFA Club World Cups, and two La Liga titles. He is considered one of the greatest defenders of all time.
Ramos said that he was happy to return to Sevilla, where he began his professional career.
"I am very happy to be back home," he said. "Sevilla is my home and I am looking forward to helping the team achieve great things."
