Roger Federer and Ivan Ljubicic part ways after seven years

Roger Federer and his coach Ivan Ljubicic have parted ways after seven years together

The Swiss maestro announced the news on his website, saying that he and Ljubicic had "mutually agreed" to end their partnership

Federer and Ljubicic first teamed up in December 2015, and went on to win, the Australian Open in 2017 and Wimbledon in 2017.

Federer said that he was "grateful" for Ljubicic's "hard work and dedication" over the past seven years

Ljubicic said that he was "proud" of what he had achieved with Federer, and he would "always cherish the memories"

Federer has not yet announced who his new coach will be and is currently recovering from a knee injury

Roger Federer is not expected to return to the tour until 2023.
