Pant's Test wicket-keeping position under threat from Kishan, says Rohit Sharma
Indian captain Rohit Sharma has hinted that Ishan Kishan could replace Rishabh Pant as India's permanent Test wicket-keeper.
Pant has been the incumbent wicket-keeper for India in Test cricket since 2018
But he has come under fire for his inconsistent batting and his below-par glovework.
Kishan, on the other hand, has been in excellent form in white-ball cricket, and he has also impressed with his wicketkeeping in the IPL.
Ishan has been doing well," Rohit said. "He's been keeping wickets really well in the IPL.
Rohit's comments suggest that Kishan is in contention to replace Pant as India's permanent Test wicket-keeper.
However, it is still too early to say for sure who will be the incumbent for the upcoming Test series against England.
