Messi to Return to Barcelona for Proper Goodbye
Lionel Messi will return to Barcelona for a proper goodbye at Camp Nou, according to Inter Miami co-owner Jorge Mas.
Messi left Barcelona in 2021 after 21 years at the club, and he never got the chance to say goodbye to the fans in person.
He opted not to return to Camp Nou after his Paris Saint-Germain exit in June
Mas has confirmed that he will have the chance to say goodbye to Barca in some capacity.
We'll work with Leo and his team to find the right moment and the right way," Mas told The Offside with Taylor Twellman podcast.
"We want to make sure that when he does say goodbye, it's done in the right way."
He also ruled out the possibility of Messi returning to Barcelona on loan, saying that "it's not something that we're looking at".
