Kapil Dev Slams BCCI, Top Stars In Fierce Rant About What Happened To Jasprit Bumrah
Kapil Dev questioned the dedication of Indian cricketers who play in the IPL yet abstain from national team obligations while suffering minor injuries.
In an interview with The Week, Kapil questioned Jasprit Bumrah's advancement status. Bumrah has been absent from the Indian team for over a year.
The ODI World Cup is rapidly approaching, and Kapil believes it would be a waste of time if Bumrah weren't well enough to play in the major tournament.
Even though Kapil thinks the IPL is fantastic, he is not happy to see players prioritise the T20 competition over their international obligations.
Even the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) was not spared by Kapil for its inadequate oversight of the players' workload.
"If you have a small injury, you would play in IPL if it's an important game. At this stage, cricket board has to understand how much cricket they should play, he said
