Jasprit Bumrah returns to lead India in T20I series against Ireland

Jasprit Bumrah will be the first fast bowler to captain India in T20Is.

The 32-year-old will replace Rohit Sharma, who is out with a hamstring injury

The three-match series will be played in Dublin from June 26 to 29.

Bumrah has been in good form in recent months, having taken 12 wickets in his last five T20I matches

He is also the vice-captain of the Test team and the tour of Ireland will be Bumrah's first assignment as captain

He will be hoping to lead India to a series win and keep their momentum going ahead of the T20 World Cup later this year.

India is currently ranked number one in the T20I rankings. They will be looking to maintain their dominance when they take on Ireland.
