James Anderson: A Bowling Great Achieves This Unique Milestone

James Anderson, the evergreen pacer from England, has cemented his place among the legends of cricket.

On Saturday, he achieved a remarkable feat – becoming the first fast bowler in history to take 700 wickets in Test cricket.

This puts him in a prestigious group of only three bowlers to ever reach this milestone.

The historic moment unfolded during the fifth and final Test match against India in Dharamsala.

While India dominated the first innings with the bat, Anderson did manage to pick up 2 crucial wickets – Shubman Gill and Kuldeep Yadav – conceding only 60 runs in his 16 overs.

This achievement adds another feather to Anderson’s already impressive cap.

He currently holds the record for most wickets in Tests for England, with a staggering 700 wickets in 187 matches.
