India tops the ICC World Test Championship 2023-25 points table

India have topped the ICC World Test Championship 2023-25 points table after their convincing victory over West Indies in the first Test.

India won the match by an innings and 141 runs, and have now accumulated 12 points from their first two matches.

Australia are in second place in the points table, with 22 points from three matches.

While England are third, with 10 points from three matches.

The points table is calculated on a percentage basis, with teams awarded points for wins, draws, and losses.

Teams also receive bonus points for scoring more than 300 runs in the first innings of a match, or bowling the opposition out within 90 overs.

India's victory over West Indies was their second consecutive win in the World Test Championship.

India's next match in the World Test Championship is against England, which will be played in August 2023.
