India drops out of top 100 after the defeat against Lebanon
The Indian men's football team has dropped out of the top 100 in the FIFA Rankings after the defeat against Lebanon in the Kings Cup.
The team was ranked 99th in the previous rankings
But the loss to Lebanon has cost them 5.09 ranking points, which has seen them drop to 102nd place.
The defeat to Lebanon was a disappointing result for India, as they had been hoping to improve their ranking
And secure a place in Pot 1 for the FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
However, the loss means that they will now be in Pot 2, which will make it more difficult for them to qualify for the World Cup.
Despite the setback, there are still some positives for India.
