Broad Retires from International Cricket: A Legend of the Game

Stuart Broad, the English pacer with over 600 Test wickets, announced his retirement on 29th July.

He received a guard of honour from Australia cricketers before the start of Day 4 of the final Ashes Test

Broad's long-term bowling partner, James Anderson, was also set to receive a guard of honour, but Broad insisted on taking him along.

This gesture moved former English captain Nasser Hussain to tears.

Broad's final act in international cricket was a six off Mitchell Starc and was dismissed in the next over

But Broad's retirement was marked with a fitting tribute from Australia.

Australia have already retained  Ashes series, but they will be looking to spoil Broad's farewell by winning the final Test on English soil.
