Australia women cricket team breaks India's 37-year-old Test record
for the highest team score in the first innings.
On June 25, 2023, Australia scored 443/4 declared in their first innings against England
This surpassed India's record of 440/3 declared
which was
set against England in 1986.
The Australian innings was built on the back of a brilliant 168 not out from Meg Lanning
who became the first woman to score a double century in a women's Test match
It will be interesting to see if Australia can maintain their dominance in the second Test
