SRH vs CSK Preview : The Battle Between the Yellow and Orange Army

SRH vs CSK Preview : It is quite interesting when you look at the statistics between these two teams as Sunrisers Hyderabad is one of the top teams in IPL has got a poor win record against mighty Chennai Super Kings. The stage is set for another big encounter as hosts Chennai super kings is all set to take on SRH here at M.A Chidambaram stadium. As both sides looks more settle and they have got their combinations right so we can expect a high-quality encounter between these two sides.

Return of their captain David Warner will give an enormous boost to Sunrisers side.  Having got the best bowling attack in the tournament it is going to be the battle between the Sunrise’s high-quality bowling attack versus experienced and settled Super King’s batting unit.  Unlike last edition SRH’s lower middle order looks more settled with that arrival of batting all-rounder Vijay Shankar and Johny Bairstow and like last year CSK has got the most settled batting unit in the tournament and their batting order gets even better with fully fit Kedhar Jadhav.

Players to Watch Out for CSK

Kedar Jadhav

The last edition was the forgettable outing for Kedhar Jadhav as he missed most of the season due to the hip injury. But fully fit and raring to go Kedhar Jadhav will make a big impact in CSK’s lower middle order considering his current form. With world cup around the corner, strong batting performance will help him to cement his place in playing X1. He is the man to watch out for in this year’s edition.

Mitchell Santner

Like Kedhar this talented kiwi all-rounder Mitchell Santner also missed the last season with leg injury. His return to international cricket recently helped the kiwi’s to pull off a series victory against Indian side. This accurate slow left arm off-spinner also handy with the bat at lower middle order Mitchell Santner can make most of the conditions and can be lethal against opponents. Considering slowness of Chennai wicket he is going to be the trump card for captain Dhoni in this IPL.

Players to Watch Out for SRH

Rashid Khan

Currently, no.1 ranked bowler Rashid Khan in T20 cricket needs no introduction to IPL. He is the go-to man for Kane Williamson last year. He has got the ability to bowl in powerplay overs as well as in slog overs which makes him so special. CSK batsmen have to aware of him otherwise he can wind-off their batting order.

David Warner

After the 12-month ban, David Warner is all set to lead the SRH this edition. With the world cup around the corner, it is the final opportunity for him to horn his skills. So he will look to make most of the opportunity and come against opponents. Moreover, SRH will look for his strong batting performance at top order in order to pull off a victory against CSK.

Final Words

Considering the previous record CSK has got a clear advantage but it is T20 anything can happen. But both the teams have to toil hard for the victory considering the kinds of players they are having against each other.
