Texas Super Kings
What Worked for Texas Super Kings?
The Texas Super Kings have won three of the five matches played. While TSK’s batting was expected to be their strong point, it was their bowling that held them together in the league stages. Leg-spinner Mohammad Mohsin was the pick of the bowlers, bamboozling the opposition with his wrong ones and making crucial strikes in the middle overs. The seamers, including Gerald Coetzee, Dwayne Bravo, and Daniel Sams, were incisive in the death overs, conceding just 8.25 runs per over.

Despite coming into the tournament with great IPL form, Faf du Plessis has only managed to score 35 runs in five innings. As a result, TSK’s top three batsmen have a cumulative average of 17.60 and strike at only 113, which is only better than Knight Riders, who finished last.
MI New York
What Worked for MI New York?
MI New York’s middle-order muscle and quality in the pace department were their strengths in the pre-season assessment, and they lived up to the promise. MI New York spent a lot of money on local talent during the draft, but unfortunately, they have not seen significant results. The quartet of Steven Taylor, Monak Patel, Shayan Jahangir, and Hammad Azam has not been able to deliver.
