The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 auction was conducted in Kolkata, the event witnessed compelling bidding wars that unfolded a whopping success of Rs. 140.30 crore being spent on the players.

The two time IPL champions — Kolkata Knight Riders are geared up to set the field on fire with their powerful squad. The KKR retained players, Andre Russell, Dinesh Karthik, and Sunil Narine, they are the biggest players to give a touch competition during the series in their squad. The franchise had 9 slots free in the auction to fill, and the KKR players list most expensive buy in the auction, which made the headlines is Pat Cummins for a sum of 15.5 crores. The franchise made history by making the most expensive purchase for an overseas player in IPL. And, the team also bought the 48-year-old Pravin Tambe for 20 lakhs as well.
