Till the time I am writing this, Gujarat Titans are currently standing at the top of the points table where they have played 7 matches so far with 5 wins and 2 loses under their belt with an impressive net run rate of +0.984 closely followed by Delhi capitals, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings and Lucknow Super Giants with 10 points each and cut throat competition in net run rate among them.
These points table at the top clearly indicate Top notch competition it brings on the table.
Other franchise who are languishing at the middle tier including the likes of- Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders are trying their level best to up their game and reach in Top 4 contention in the points table.

Going by numbers and current standard of cricket these bottom tier teams on points table including the likes of– Rajasthan Royals, Sun Risers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings are currently placed at 8th, 9th and 10th place with 4 points each clearly indicates there is so much to catch for them considering the way other teams have showcase their skills it seems the game is over for these bottom three franchise who does possess enough firepower but somehow they have failed to crack the code when it comes to delivering in the crunch phase of the game.
