In an earlier interview, the 23-year-old claimed that it has been a difficult route for Punjab cricketers, who have not only changed towns but also travelled back and forth across the states to play cricket. Though many doubted she’d make it to nationals, her father had stuck by her side like a rock and helped her through everything.
